All about my bed!

So as long as I can remember I've wanted this bed frame from Ikea and when I was around 12 years old I was able to get my dream bed (sounds silly but we all have one!). I'm almost 21 now and it's still the perfect bed. You'd think Ikea beds won't last, but honesty, all my furniture from there has kept up so well all these years!

As far as my comforter goes, I'm not going to pretend like it is this amazing quality product that makes my bed look flawlesa all the time. It doesn't. To get all the ruffles to okay, I would have to steam them. I cannot do that everyday, nor do I want to. This is what it looks like after being washed and I was rushing to school. The wrinkles stay and it becomes quite stiff... (I'm getting to the good stuff, I promise!) One last thing to point out, this bed spread looks like a lovely blush colour because of the colours of my cushions, without them it's really almost a beige colour. Regardless of all that, I really do like this comforter. I got it a year ago and it has held up pretty well. It is from the Lauren Conrad line at Kohl's. I live in Canada (no Kohl's here!) so I ordered it online without getting to see it. It does add a beautiful and feminine touch to my room, which I love! My old room was a completely different colour scheme, so I may post a photo of it on a Throwback Thursday?

As for the cushions, I got the two back ones from Chapters/Indigo for about $20 each, they are revesible so it allows for a little bit of versatility to the overall look of my bed. As for the cushion up front, it is from H&M Home. I bought it in New York City, it was $12, and probably one of my favourite finds! Seeing this product online makes me want to start shopping more in person. You'd think the quality would be cheap and thin but it is seriously so gorgeous and looks so high end! I'll link a similar one down below. Believe it or not, it actually took me a while to find the insert for this cushion, I couldn't purchase it at the store because I couldn't bring it on the flight back home. I eventually ended up ordering a 16x16 insert online from Walmart. Finally, for the throw, I got it during a Victoria's Secret promotion around Christmas time for free :) (if spending $75 to get it for free counts?!) Anyways, I'll link all these items below, I honestly do love the way they all worked out. Even though this post started off with negatives, I really would recommend each of these items!
